CHATELAINE

A chatelaine, worn by the ladies many years ago to hold their keys. It was usually held at their waist. I made one for quilters to be held around their neck while sewing. It consists of a heart shaped "purse" attached to a ribbon that can hold your thimble, and any small item for sewing.
At the other end of the ribbon is a hand that can be opened or closed. The hand when opened, has elastic holds to keep your scissors, pins,small pencil in place. It is closed by velcro strips. Great gift for another quilter.
