First, outline all your objects starting from the inside out. Choose a starting point close to an inside outline. Draw up the bobbin thread. Holding top and bobbin thread take a few tiny stitches. Keep the sections about the size of a large quarter (coin). Sew as shown working towards the outside of the quilt..

Continue each section until desired area is filled.
Always practice on a sample before you start. This is to limber those fingers up. I also use a quilting needle with embroidery or invisible thread on top and regular on the bottom.
